Where to eat and drink this winter in Jackson Hole whether you are on the slopes or off. FOR APRES SKI

For a more traditional Western après, head to the Mangy Moose, “One of the 10 hottest après-ski bars in the world” by Forbes Traveler. to listen to live, often local, music. You’ll find locals and visitors having a post ski beer and snacking on wings, truffle fries and nachos. New to the scene is Bar Enoteca. a wine and small plate bar. Located in the lobby of Hotel Terra Jackson Hole, this is a little slice of the Alps in the Tetons.

FOR FINE DINING STAPLES

Everything you would expect from a fine dining restaurant showcasing rustic American fare, Snake River Grill will be a memorable eating experience and has been influencing the local culinary scene for more than 20 years. Also, try Westbank Grill, which are not to be overlooked by any means, located in the Four Seasons Jackson Hole. Enjoy panoramic views of Teton Village and Rendezvous Peak, a dynamic open kitchen and a cozy setting for dinner at this inviting mountain steakhouse.

FOR A CUP OF JOE

If you are looking for that caffeine fix or for a spot to grab a quick breakfast then head to Persephone, a bakery and coffee shop known for its artisanal breads and pastries, or visit Cowboy Coffee for a strong, bold, fresh-roasted coffee.

FOR SUSHI

One doesn’t always think sushi in the mountains, but King Sushi might change your mind. King Sushi is a locals’ favorite in downtown Jackson situated in a six table tiny log cabin with a sushi counter. Our favorite rolls are the King and the Crouching Tiger.

FOR ITALIAN

Jackson Hole has some amazing Italian fare in downtown Jackson and Teton Village. A Jackson Hole institution since it arrived in 2000, Old Yellowstone Garage continues to serve Italian comfort food with a modern twist from its new Caldera House location In downtown Jackson, Glorietta Trattoria is a standout Italian restaurant with a wood-fire stove and homemade past. As they say “you’re a stranger here but once.”

AND FOR THOSE THAT WANT TO KEEP DRINKING

Head to Local Restaurant and Bar for an after dinner libation or the world-famous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar for a true piece of the wild west. Cowboy Bar has stood on the town square since 1937 with its saddles as bar stools and live music, you can’t stay in Jackson Hole without dropping into this iconic spot.
