Once you figure out where you are going to stay, the real fun begins! There are so many things to do, places to go, and things to see, that we’ve narrowed the list down to our favorites to make it easier for you, and of course, the LPJH concierge team can help with every minute of your itinerary.
Snow Sports
With Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Snow King Mountain, and the Grand Targhee Resort all in the area, there are plenty of opportunities for skiers, snowboarders, and tubing enthusiasts to get out and play on the slopes or in the tube parks at Snow King Mountain, as well as cross-country ski trails everywhere. If mountain adventures are your thing, there are many heli-skiing and local snowmobile outfits available and endless terrain to explore. Experienced backcountry enthusiasts can easily access the local Tetons with a guide, which are world-renowned for backcountry skiing, from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
Local Tours & Town Activities
If you prefer to stay warm and cozy while still seeing the sights, take them in from above by flying over Jackson Hole or take a snowcoach tour to see Old Faithful or jump on a horse-drawn sleigh ride and let your guide take you on a tour of the Elk Refuge to get up close to the local Elk population. If you want to experience fun outdoor activities for the entire family, there is an outdoor ice skating rink in the center of town and Teton Village. Feel like shopping? There are endless boutique-style shops in downtown Jackson Hole that are worth an afternoon off from the snow sports.
Dining
What do you like to eat? Are you a casual diner or a pub lover? Perhaps you are a wine or craft-beer connoisseur? Perhaps you prefer a more formal dining experience? Jackson Hole has something for everybody, whatever food mood they’re in, but we have our favorites too. Check out the Roadhouse Brewing Co. Pub & Brewery to try any of the 30+ beers they have on tap and try their fancier-than-usual pub fare. If you love the Apres-ski scene, definitely head over to the Mangy Moose in Teton Village which has a fun family atmosphere something for everybody all day long. If fine wining and dining is more your jam, try the Snake River Grill, known for its rustic, yet elegant dining, wide selection of fine wines, and fresh, chef-prepared favorites. And don’t forget to visit Bar Enoteca, a local favorite that features a Mediterranean menu and a wide selection of vintages at their famous new wine bar. Also a Apres-ski scene.
