Snowmobiling

The warmer temps in March make it a great time to take a snowmobile tour. Either take in the scenery in the park or head to Granite Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in a 112-degree natural hot springs pool. A favorite destination for locals and visitors all year but is particularly special experience during the winter. Image courtesy of Visit Jackson Hole.

Ride the Cowboy Coaster

The Cowboy Coaster takes riders up Snow King Mountain, a few blocks from the town square, then winds down the mountain with twists, turns and incredible views providing an exhilarating ride for all. If you need more thrills, experience snow tubing just a few steps from the Cowboy Coaster, another fun way to enjoy the snow and earn a hot chocolate. Image courtesy of Snow King Mountain.

Sleigh Ride

While you are in town, it is also fun to get up close and personal with Jackson Hole’s resident herd of elk, numbering in the thousands, in a cozy, horse-drawn sleigh ride on the National Elk Refuge. In addition to elk, guests might get lucky and see bighorn sheep, moose, wolves, coyotes, pronghorn antelope and eagles.

The LPJH concierge team can arrange any or all of these adventures plus many more. Explore LPJH vacation rental portfolio and Shooting Star properties still available in March.
