The Forecast for Jackson Hole = Snow!!

A multi-day storm cycle has started in Jackson Hole. A low-pressure system is starting to transport copious amounts of moisture from the Pacific Ocean into Western Wyoming.

When the Sierra Nevada Range in California gets dumped on via a southwesterly flow that extends in Western Wyoming, typically the Tetons end up receiving heavy snow as well – not as deep as the Sierras, but still plenty enough to deliver powder days on the slopes.

Snow totals from this wave from Wednesday through Thursday night will range from 10-18 inches in the Tetons (favoring Teton Pass and JHMR) and 4-10 inches in the Jackson Hole Valley.

As if being ranked top ski resort numerous times over the past few years isn’t enough reason to come ski, we are receiving more snow than most Rocky Mountain ski resorts.
