Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival Happening September 7-18, 2022

The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, recognized as the Rocky Mountain West’s premier cultural event, will take place September 7-18, 2022, this year in Jackson, Wyoming, celebrating art, food, history, wine and design. Presented by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, the Fall Arts Festival presents more than 50 family-friendly events both outdoors and indoors, including gallery walks, open air food fairs, wine tastings, ranch tours and live art demonstrations.

September is the perfect time to travel to the charming mountain resort town of Jackson, and at a time when the summer crowds have dwindled and the scene has shifted to a cooler, calmer and more creative climate. As Jackson Hole, Wyoming was recently named “Best Western Art Destination” for 2022.

Its open spaces, hillside lots, mature fir and aspen trees, and superb views of the valley floor make it a perfect choice for those looking for an alpine setting. The log walls and vaulted ceilings immerse Bluebell Cabin’s guests into the calm of nature. The spiral staircase in the center of the home brings its three levels together and lets friends and family spread out into the home’s four bedrooms. The lower level entrance to Bluebell Cabin greets its guests with stone and wood. A two-car garage allows guests to park their cars away from the elements. The wooden porch’s walkway leads to a set of large doors framed by river stone. Before entering through the double doors, a moment on the wagon wheel bench reveal a world of pine trees and aspens and reminds you that this is a place of peace and quiet. Once inside, the downstairs living area provides a taste of the Bluebell Cabin’s fullest offerings.

Plush sofas, a wood-burning stove, and a flat-screen television make this area the perfect place for movie night. Wooden cabinets provide plenty of space to store your gear and a laundry room helps you keep it clean. One guest bedroom features a queen size bed and an en suite bathroom. A detached, full bathroom serves the second guest bedroom furnished with a queen size bed.

The home’s centerpiece, a spiral staircase made of whole, cut logs, leads to Bluebell Cabin‘s main level and great room. The vaulted ceilings and wide windows of the great room fill the space with warm, natural light. The rustic grace of the room is further enhanced by the bold decor of contemporary Western art, leather armchairs, and a stone fireplace. The great room transitions into the kitchen and powder room.

Modern appliances and fixtures are complimented by granite counter tops, and a large wooden table invites everyone together for memorable dinners. On a warm summer day, everyone can move outside to the porch’s picnic table for a home-cooked meal.

The master suite is this home’s height of comfort. A California king bed sits in front of doors leading to the elevated porch. Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves flank the bed, making nightly reading all the easier. A walk-in closet makes unpacking effortless, and the en suite bathroom features dual vanities and an expansive steam shower.

A trip back to the spiral staircase leads to the loft. The private space offered by the loft gives a complete view of the great room and this home’s magnificent ceilings. Yellowstone National Park Has Reopened

Yellowstone National Park reopened the north loop on Saturday, July 2nd, to all visitors. In addition to roads in the south loop, visitors will now be able to access:

Norris Junction to Mammoth Hot Springs

Mammoth Hot Springs to Tower-Roosevelt

Tower-Roosevelt to Canyon Junction (Dunraven Pass)

Visitors can access the south and north loops via the East Entrance (Cody, Wyoming), West Entrance (West Yellowstone, Montana), and South Entrance (Grand Teton/Jackson, Wyoming). The North Entrance Road (Gardiner, Montana to Mammoth Hot Springs) and Northeast Entrance Road (Cooke City/Silver Gate, Montana to Tower-Roosevelt) remain closed to visitor vehicular traffic while temporary repairs are completed.

Services in the north loop will include general stores at Tower and Mammoth Hot Springs, and gasoline in both locations. Additional services may open in upcoming weeks. Visit Operating Hours and Seasons for details.

Yellowstone National Park also asks visitors traveling to the park to stay informed about the current situation, changes in visitor entry requirements, and road conditions. The public should also use extreme caution in areas of high water.
