Arrival at First Tracks is a pleasant affair. A long, wooden porch leads you along stacked firewood and reclaimed barn wood exteriors to the home’s entrance. As you open the door, you are met with the sounds of Fish Creek running next to the lodge, and you know you’ve arrived at your exclusive retreat. Your entry is greeted by an expansive, open floor plan merging the great room, dining room, and kitchen into a singular space. Foremost among the visual splendors of the great room are its vaulted ceiling and grand windows. The vertical space of the room makes it feel boundless, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provide the immense views of the surrounding mountains. Beyond the aesthetic appeal of the room, you will find plush armchairs and sofas surrounding a wood fireplace. Further investigation reveals an in-wall television hidden behind two barn wood doors and a SONOS sound system, making this the perfect spot for a family movie night after a day of adventure.

The kitchen is masterfully appointed and sensibly arranged to make cooking a pleasure. A four-burner gas range by Wolf gives your chef (whether it’s your home chef or a professional) full control over the cuisine, and the spacious arrangement of the kitchen makes clean-up a breeze. For more casual meals, your family can gather around the stone-top island, A grand dining table with room for ten sits next to the kitchen for more formal meals. During the summer months, dining can be enjoyed out on the patio in the warm mountain sun. First Tracks features two suites, a king bedroom, and a twin bedroom. The downstairs suite sits in central area of the home. Entering the suite first leads you to the bathroom and the walk-in closet. The en suite bathroom is served by a recessed tub, rainfall shower, and dual vanities. Further down is the king bedroom, framed by thick barn wood beams across the ceiling and festive Western décor. The downstairs suite is also served by a private patio, perfect for romantic sunset together.
The other bedrooms are all found upstairs. The upper level suite continues a variation on the boundless space of the great room with its own high ceilings and massive wooden beams over a king bed.
