Just a short drive from Jackson's historic Town Square, Horsethief Hideaway is the ideal retreat for your Jackson Hole vacation. Nestled in a private community on the outskirts of town, Horsethief Hideway boasts four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathroom, configured perfectly for a couples escape or a family getaway.
Approaching the house, guests are invited to sit and relax in a rocking chair or swing that grace the front porch - the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and plan the day's adventure on a cool summer morning. The sound of a horse's whinny can be heard from the small pasture next door. Inside, the foyer opens into the home’s spacious living areas. Near the entryway, a large dining table comfortably seats ten and a private office houses a stately desk and bookcases. The great room offers comfortable seating around a wood-burning fireplace and a chess set.
A short corridor leads guests to the large, well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen boasts top-of-the-line appliances, a large island, bar seating, and a breakfast table. The kitchen opens to a den with ample seating, a television, and fireplace. A secondary staircase off the kitchen leads to a large entertainment room. A long, sectional sofa provides seating around the entertainment center, and a round table is the perfect place to spread out one of the many board games or puzzles available. Entertainment sets such as a ping-pong table and dart board await a friendly tournament among family and friends.
The master bedroom also shares the main level. A king-size bed stands tall, flanked by bedside tables. A private seating area offers a place to relax by the fireplace or watch television. The large, en suite bath has a standing shower, separate Jacuzzi tub, two sinks, and a walk-in closet.
The upper level features three additional bedrooms. The first contains two queen size beds, each in their own nook. Window provide views of the Polo Ranches and the Teton Range beyond. The room has an en suite bath with a tub, shower, and dual vanity. The second bedroom, furnished with a queen-size bed, also has a sitting area and television. The third bedroom also has a queen-size bed. A hall bathroom with a tub and shower combination is shared by two of the guest bedrooms.
The backyard is the perfect place to enjoy the long summer days in Jackson. A large deck offers relaxing seating, an outdoor dining table, and a hot tub to be enjoyed year-round. Wonderful Home

Comfortable place just outside of the busy downtown area
The front patio & decor welcomed me each cool morning for a warm cup of coffee. One day had some neighborhood construction that was distracting, but overall a nice place to start the day. Our crew ate dinner together outside on the back patio where the birds entertained, and hang gliders awed. As Texans, we thoroughly enjoyed the cooler evenings, but had to get accustomed to not having central AC to help with warmer day temps. If you truly follow the homeowner's guidance, it's fine. It was just an unanticipated adjustment. 😉

Best vacation ever!
by Karen PHorsethief Hideaway was by far the most wonderful home and vacation we have ever had! We had a multi-generation family trip and this property was fabulous. The kids loved the game room and yard. The views were spectacular and so close to town and the national parks. We were very sad to leave such beautiful home!!
